The importance of Service Excellence can not be over emphasized, especially when we calculate the multiplying effect of service excellence to the GDP of every business, organization and economy. it is a task that requires the involvement of every industry, sector and body.

We require more individuals and companies and parastatals to become more sensitive to the skills, knowledge and workings of Global service excellence standards in every field and more importantly to sensitize them to the adverse effect of not becoming Service Excellence savvy.

That is why we at EleanorThompson will be hosting A service sensitization week, which we will coincide with the international customers service week. it plans to be a three day long event with a large gathering of 350- 500 stake holders and managers in every sector of our economy, well represented. 

The popular saying that ‘You don’t build economies, you build people and people build nations’ resonates in our minds as we seek to cause a national orientation shift towards service excellence by this cause to unite, align and execute a common vision towards the propagation of service excellence over mediocrity in the interest of our dear nation.

We are excited to start the count odwn to wards the launch of our 10-year sensitization  project Istandforexcellence.

This initiative is the brainchild of Eleanor Thompson Ltd, a pioneer in the fields of Service Excellence training and Social Entrepreneurship, Endorsed by NESG (Nigeria Economic Summit Group) and supported by Traditions Global Inv. Ltd, Fine and Country, Giant Beverage as well as other Companies that are driven by a passion for Service Excellence and  Service  Orientation in Nigeria. We ask that you join us to provide a lasting solution to this perennial problem to incite a 10-year long sensitization campaign.

We believe that Service standards play a huge role in our economic earnings, employment rate, foreign business attraction as well as our overall international standing. We strive to reduce mediocrity, lackadaisical attitude, poor values as well as ‘grab mind’ set in our society.

We align with the Federal Government initiative of ‘Ease of doing Business in Nigeria’ as well as Lagos State Initiative, to position Lagos as the 3rd Largest Economy in Africa. However, if the people aren’t prepared, we may fail to see our goals achieved. We consider this campaign towards National Service Excellence Orientation as timely.

Our Campaign is tagged:  iStandForExcellence and The Launch will be a one day event with a large gathering of 100 – 120 Stakeholders, Targeted at Service Driven, public and private industry giants and Policy Makers. Key Speakers are Mrs Mosun Bello Olushola, Chairman Access Bank, Mr. Kyari Bukar, Chairman Nigeria Economic Summit Group amongst others. The theme for this event is  ‘Strategies for Holistic Service Management – Towards economic Impact, Profitability and Inclusion’.

It will hold on the 3rd of October 2017 at The Wheatbaker Ikoyi, Lagos from 8:00 am to 3:00pm.

Nigeria is made of people and if the mind-set of the people remains unchanged, no external rebranding/reorientation, will have a truly transformational or impactful effect. Transformation starts from inside to outside and not vice versa however, such deep reaching transformation is a long, purposeful and deliberate task.

Every sector is in dire need of transformation. The work ethic is in dire need of overhauling our value system requires recharge.

Event Agenda

DAY 1: (REWARDING YOUR SERVICE CHAMPIONS)

We will be hosting front line officers in various sectors to a 4 hour service competition which will involve them racing to a finish line after performing some customer driven excercise, they will also engage in activities that will create customer centric awareness amongst team members, as well as activities to foster team spirit corporation, efficiency and skills for Service Standards.

The day will round up with the best teams/industry rewarded with a tantalizing gift, 7 day trip all expense paid to location yet to be chosen.

DAY 2 WILL COMPRISE OF A DOCUMINAR (DOCUMENTARY SEMINAR)

Which will highlight the service standard issues we are palgued with in our society after which our international geust speaker will give a key note showing the multiplying effect adopting Global best Service practice has on the giver as well as the recipient. this will be followed by a discussion on the challenges service provider face and the ways by which we can manage this challenges and turn them to opportunities

We will move to the next conversation to teach front line managers ways to measure their service and show them how to make theirs service marketable and profitable. We will round up with a dinner.

DAY 3, WILL HOST THE STAKEHOLDERS AND CAPTAINS OF INDUSTRIES, PARASTATAL HEADS, TO BREAKFAST MEETING TAGGED TOWARDS A SERVICE DRIVEN CONSCIOUSNESS.

Where we will have heads of various industries discuss in panel format, the template for an enabling environment for their service providers. as we earlier pointed out, human beings are the custodians of service standards set by organisations, and so we need to provide the environment that enables them thrive. if they thrive, our customers thrive.

We will be showing clips and hearing from different industries.

We round up by giving awards to the earlier competing teams and also exemplary service excellence awards to organisations that have contributed to the service standards in the country. we will also be launching our quarterly service Excellence magazine to round off the day.
